Our Services

Life Skills

We encourage our residents to develop home care skills which include participating in the following areas, under supervision of care staff:

  • Basic home cleaning
  • Selecting and cooking meals
  • Shopping
  • Personal laundering of clothes
  • Sewing
  • Gardening
  • Personal hygiene

Independence

We aim to help you to maintain your own independence. Often something that may seem trivial can be an invaluable aide; for example a grab and hand rails, special cutlery etc.. We will work with you to identify and overcome any problems you may have or assist with things you find very difficult to do.

Care for Residents

Residents who require help with washing, dressing, moving about the house, etc., is provided as a basic facility of the home. Care plans are drawn up with each resident to ensure that their individual needs and goals are met. These plans are regularly reviewed with the resident and updated.

Residents Consultation

We want everything we do in the Home to be driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our residents. In addition to daily contact with the Manager and staff a residents meeting is held bi-monthly. Informal meetings between the residents and staff often take place after the evening meal
